About
Jake Essex
A singer from Essex. High energy. Continuous flow. No dead air.
He is not an impersonator and not a tribute act. He performs as himself — drawing on Elvis, Bobby Darin, Dion, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Willie Nelson, Frank Sinatra and the rest of that era.
His nan put that music on in the house when he was growing up. It stuck. Grandad taught him mechanics. By day he is an RAC mobile mechanic. By night he is on stage.
The show has a clear shape. It starts with the era. It finishes with Elvis. The room arrives somewhere.

Do you do pure Elvis tribute?
No. I perform as myself. The show uses Elvis material, especially in the second half, but it is not an impersonation show.
Do you bring a PA?
Yes. Fully self-contained.
How far do you travel?
Essex, London, Kent and the East of England as standard. Further afield is possible — just ask.
